A spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens' most well-known story filled with loads of solos and interesting characters. Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes that personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated "Bah! Humbug!" Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he's forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present and Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful "Happy Christmas" before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him.

REGISTRATION
Tuition - $500
- $25 Non-refundable Audition Fee
- $100 Deposit (refundable if not cast)
($100 refundable if not cast; non-refundable/non-transferable if cast - will be applied to tuition balance due)
- $25 Refundable Script Deposit - scripts must be returned for this production

Students may register for any other Ao1 production in addition to A Christmas Carol and may choose to drop that registration if cast in A Christmas Carol. Ao1 will transfer your deposit for that show to your A Christmas Carol tuition balance if notified within 24 hours of the posting of the cast list. Tuition balance must be paid within 24 hours of casting.

Payment Options
1 - 50% deposit paid upfront with balance due prior to auditions (non-refundable/non-transferable)
2 - Full tuition paid upfront (50% non-refundable/non-transferable)
3 - A CHRISTMAS CAROL - $125 ($25 audition fee non-refundable; $100 deposit refundable if not cast; non-refundable/non-transferable if cast) with tuition balance due within 24 hours of casting

Costume Fee - We provide one costume for every cast member with a $15 fee for every additional costume. If you don't want your student to be cast in multiple roles, you must tell us at auditions.

Scholarships
Scholarship applications are available here. A 50% deposit is still required. For more information on scholarships, please contact lgelley@ao1theater.org ASAP.
Discounts
Sibling discounts will be applied when applicable. 10% off the lowest tuition for the third child and 20% off the fourth, fifth, etc.

AO1 REFUND POLICY
​
No refunds will be given within one week prior to the first auditions of the session. Full refunds may be requested no less than 4 weeks prior to class and within 72 hours of registration. Partial refunds will be given upon request up to one week prior to auditions, minus the non-refundable deposit per person, production, workshop or camp. All requests must be in writing and refunds will be issued during the second week of rehearsals. To the extent that a family has previously requested a refund per this policy, it will be necessary for that family to pay in full in order to secure a spot for future Audience of One Youth Theater (“Ao1”) sessions. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation involving this policy.
* Absolutely NO REFUNDS are given after auditions/classes have begun for the session.
* Ao1 will offer no refunds for drops, cancellations, or postponements.
