SpotLight Production: Spring 2023

The stakes are higher than ever in this dynamic stage musical, as SpongeBob and all of Bikini Bottom face the total annihilation of their undersea world. Chaos erupts. Lives hang in the balance. And just when all hope seems lost, a most unexpected hero rises up and takes center stage. The power of optimism really can save the world!​

This show features a large cast with over 45 different parts, 10+ soloist, featured dancers, and more! Songs and dances vary with styles including  jazz, hip hop, tap, gospel, and musical theatre.

REGISTRATION

$475 (due before auditions)
Plus a $15 refundable script deposit - Scripts must be returned for this production

Tech Rehearsals: 4/17 - 4/20 & 4/26 4:30-8:30 PM
Performances: 4/21 - 10:00 AM (School Day Show) & 6:30 PM

4/22 - 12:00 PM & 6:30 PM

4/27 - 6:30 PM

4/28 - 6:30 PM

4/29 - 12:00 PM & 6:30 PM (immediately followed by Strike & Move Out)

*Hangtime will start the following week

 

Hangtime

Tuesdays and Fridays will have an optional "hangtime" from 4:45 - 5:15 PM where students can purchase pizza and snacks and hang out with friends before rehearsal!

Ao1 is a parent volunteer organization where volunteer hours are mandatory.

Payment Options
1 - 50% deposit paid upfront with balance due prior to auditions (non-refundable/non-transferable)
2 - Full tuition paid upfront (50% non-refundable/non-transferable)

3 - MOONLIGHT ONLY - $25 audition fee paid upfront and $100 deposit due two weeks prior to auditions (refunded if not cast, non-refundable/non-transferable and applied to full tuition if cast) with remaining tuition balance due within 48 hours of casting.

Costume Fee - We provide one costume for every cast member with a $15 fee for every additional costume. If you don't want your student to be cast in multiple roles, you must tell us at auditions.

Scholarships

Scholarship applications are available here. A 50% deposit is still required. For more information on scholarships, please contact dfenner@audienceofonetheater.com ASAP.

 

Discounts

Sibling discounts will be applied when applicable. 10% off the lowest tuition for the third child and 20% off the fourth, fifth, etc.

AO1 REFUND POLICY

No refunds will be given within one week prior to the first auditions of the session. Full refunds may be requested no less than 4 weeks prior to class and within 72 hours of registration. Partial refunds will be given upon request up to one week prior to auditions, minus the non-refundable deposit per person, production, workshop or camp. All requests must be in writing and refunds will be issued during the second week of rehearsals. To the extent that a family has previously requested a refund per this policy, it will be necessary for that family to pay in full in order to secure a spot for future Audience of One Youth Theater (“Ao1”) sessions. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation involving this policy.

 

* Absolutely NO REFUNDS are given after auditions/classes have begun for the session.

 

* Ao1 will offer no refunds for drops, cancellations, or postponements.
