NightLight Production: Fall 2026

Melton the Warm-Hearted Snowman is a charming, joy-filled mini musical about a snowman whose heart is so full of love and cheer… he literally starts to melt! One chorus of “Oh Christmas Tree” and—uh oh—Melton shrinks an inch! Not exactly ideal when you’re made of snow.

As Melton navigates a world full of festive fun and frosty friends, he meets a delightful cast of winter characters and discovers that his warm heart, while a little inconvenient, might just be the most magical thing of all.

Full of humor, music, and seasonal sparkle, Melton the Warm-Hearted Snowman reminds us of what truly matters: it’s about love.

A little silly, a lot of heart, and guaranteed to warm audiences from the inside out!

Thursdays 5:00-7:00pm

Auditions are the 2nd week of rehearsal. Details will be sent in registration packet.

Tech Rehearsal: Tuesday 12/1 & Wednesday 12/2

Performances: Thur 12/3 6:00pm and Sat 12/5 11:30am (2 shows)

Hangtime

There will be an optional "hangtime" from 4:45 - 5:00 PM where students can purchase pizza and snacks and hang out with friends before rehearsal!

Ao1 is run with the support of parents through required parent committee service.

Payment Options
1 - 50% deposit paid upfront with balance due prior to first rehearsal (non-refundable/non-transferable)
2 - Full tuition paid upfront (50% non-refundable/non-transferable)

Costume Fee - We provide one costume for every cast member with a $15 fee for every additional costume. If you don't want your student to be cast in multiple roles, you must tell us at auditions.

Scholarships

Scholarship applications are available here. A 50% deposit is still required. For more information on scholarships, please contact lgelley@ao1theater.org ASAP. Deadline is 8/1/26 for scholarship consideration for Fall 2026.

Discounts

Sibling discounts will be applied when applicable. 10% off the lowest tuition for the third child and 20% off the fourth, fifth, etc.

AO1 REFUND POLICY

Full refunds maybe requested:

Within 72 hours of when the student was registered;
At least 4 weeks prior to the workshop, camp or the first auditions of a session.

Partial refunds will exclude the non-refundable deposit per person, per session/workshop/camp and may be requested:

Up to one week prior to the workshop, camp or the first auditions of a session. Nightlight is first rehearsal, not audition.
These refunds exclude the non-refundable deposit per person, production, workshop, or camp.

No refunds will be given within 1 week prior to the first auditions of the session or class.

*All requests must be in writing and refunds will be issued during the second week of rehearsals.

*If a family has previously requested a refund per this policy, it will be necessary for that family to pay for future Audience of One Youth Theater (“Ao1”) sessions in full, in order to secure a spot. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation involving this policy.

* Absolutely NO REFUNDS are given after auditions/classes have begun for the session.

* Ao1 will offer no refunds for drops, cancellations, or postponements.
