SpotLight Production: Spring 2027

This is a Full Broadway length production

Seussical brings the colorful, imaginative world of Dr. Seuss to life in a joyful musical adventure filled with unforgettable characters, energetic music, and plenty of heart!

The Cat in the Hat leads us into the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a tiny world called Who on a speck of dust and promises to protect its inhabitants—no matter what anyone else thinks. Along the way, we meet JoJo, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie La Bird, the Sour Kangaroo, the Wickersham Brothers, and many more beloved Seuss characters as their stories collide in unexpected and delightful ways.

Featuring a large ensemble, vibrant characters, exciting music, and opportunities for performers to sing, dance, act, and create, Seussical celebrates the power of imagination, loyalty, friendship, and standing up for what you believe in. At its heart is a simple but powerful reminder: “A person’s a person, no matter how small.”

Whimsical, heartfelt, and bursting with creativity, Seussical is a fantastical musical experience for performers and audiences of all ages.

For Spotlight, all cast members audition into one pool. After auditions and callbacks, directors will place cast members into Cast A and Cast B. If your student can only participate in one cast, there will be an opportunity to note that at auditions, and such requests will be accommodated.  If you do not request a specific cast, there may be more opportunity for your student. Siblings will be placed in the same cast unless otherwise noted. We do this because we have to make sure, with full Broadway shows, that the casts are as balanced as possible with ages and experience.
