SpotLight Production - Spring 2020
Ages 8-18
Tuck Everlasting is based on the novel of the same name by Natalie Babbitt. It tells the story of a family who drink water from a magical spring and become immortal. When they encounter a young girl who lives in their rural New England town, she becomes friends with one of the sons, who soon offers her the secret to everlasting life. She then has to decide if she wants to join her new friends in immortality, or if she will live out her normal life. Tuck Everlasting is timeless story of family, loss, friendship, and love,
In keeping with our commitment to provide opportunity for a quality theater education experience, we will be dividing our cast into two separate casts. Below are the highlights:
All of the registrants will audition and THEN be placed in the best cast/role for them. This means that you will not be choosing your cast prior to auditions.
We will have a Cast A which will rehearse on Tuesdays from 4:45-8:30 pm and Thursdays 4:15-6:15 pm
We will have a Cast B which will rehearse on Fridays from 4:45-8:30 pm and Thursdays 6:30-8:30 pm
The cast "A" and "B" designation does not imply one cast is superior to the other. Both casts will be equal and excellent!
Siblings will be placed in the same cast.
You may indicate any cast preferences on your audition form for consideration, but please note that we will only consider legitimate and major conflicts when casting.
